Encapsulation is a series that explores the relationship between memories and time. Photos that represent significant personal memories of the artist were printed on fallen leaves. These memories are extremely intimate and unforgettable past experiences that become parts of the artist’s identity. However, it also entangled the artist from making changes and moving onward.

As German novelist and poet Hermann Hesse once said, "Some of us think holding on makes us strong; but sometimes it is letting go." The creation process focuses on acknowledging the past and learning the beauty of letting the past become the past. Through symbolic subject matter, artists gain insights from the natural surroundings and gain courage in moving forward.
